Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy

Transform Your Life with Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

Discover how hypnosis and hypnotherapy can amplify integrative coaching, unlocking personal growth, mental well-being, and transformative change.

How & Why we may incorporate this practise into your coaching experience

Our experience of reality is based on what we perceive reality to be. Our minds are continually hypnotising us into believing what we’ve unconsciously chosen to accept as true, and this “truth” then becomes stronger over the years.

Here’s an example – over time, you’ve learned to believe that you are a particular type of person or that you have a specific set of skills and limitations. However, if you want to grow, you must allow yourself to believe that you can improve and remove these restrictions or addictions that are holding you back from fulfilling your potential.

Hypnotherapy

A Pathway to Profound Transformation

Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool for facilitating the transformation you deeply desire. By working with the subconscious mind, it enables you to access and reprogram the underlying beliefs, patterns, and behaviours that may be holding you back. Through this process, you can gain clarity, resolve internal conflicts, and create lasting, meaningful changes in your life.

One of the key benefits of hypnotherapy is its ability to help you reframe negative or limiting thoughts, replacing them with empowering and constructive perspectives. This cognitive shift can lead to greater self-confidence, improved decision-making, and a more optimistic outlook on life.

Hypnotherapy is also highly effective in addressing destructive habits and behaviours. Whether you’re struggling with procrastination, emotional eating, or self-sabotage, hypnotherapy can uncover the root causes of these patterns and help you break free from them.

For those facing irrational fears and phobias, hypnotherapy offers a gentle yet effective approach to overcoming these challenges. By desensitizing the triggers and reconditioning your responses, you can experience a newfound sense of freedom and peace.

Additionally, hypnotherapy provides a safe space for you to explore and resolve suppressed emotions, which are often the source of unresolved pain or conflict. By bringing these emotions to the surface and integrating them, you can achieve a sense of wholeness and emotional balance.

Whether you’re seeking to overcome personal challenges, improve your relationships, or unlock your full potential, hypnotherapy serves as a bridge to a more empowered and authentic version of yourself. With its proven ability to facilitate deep healing and transformation, hypnotherapy can be the catalyst for the change you’ve been seeking.

Hypnosis can be used for a variety of reasons:

  • Weight loss
  • Increasing confidence
  • Stop smoking
  • Overcome phobias
  • Help with PTSD
  • Reduce depression and anxiety
  • Overcome addictions
  • Improve memory

Benefits Of Hypnotherapy:

  • Use your mind more powerfully, with increased concentration and focused attention
  • Improve sleep and help with insomnia

Exploring the Science

Grounded in scientific principles, this practice delves into the intricate relationship between the mind and body. Through focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and deep relaxation, it enables access to the subconscious, facilitating meaningful therapeutic interventions.

Understanding the Process

This natural state of selective, focused attention, often accompanied by deep relaxation, allows individuals to become more open to suggestions. This makes it a valuable tool for addressing a range of psychological and physiological concerns. Neuroimaging studies have shown how this state can alter brain activity, enhancing attention and emotional control.

Frequently Asked Questions about
Hypnosis & Hypotherapy

What is Hypnosis

Hypnosis or hypnotherapy is a alternative treatment therapy that uses the mind-body connection to encourage a state of mind that can be classified as focused attention with an increased suggestibility that allows for the healing of limiting patterns of thought, release of blocked emotions and unconscious stress and tension.

Your reality is based on your perceptions. Your mind is actually continually hypnotising you into believing what you’ve unconsciously chosen to accept as true, and this “truth” then becomes stronger and stronger over the years, and becomes your view of the world.

So, for example, over time you’ve learned to believe that you are a particular type of person or that you have a specific set of skills and limitations. But you want to grow and improve and remove these restrictions or addictions that are holding you back from fulfilling your potential.

If you’re open to the natural healing that lies deep within you, beyond your perceptions and beliefs, then hypnosis / hypnotherapy can help you discover unlimited possibilities and opportunities.

Is Hypnosis Real?

Yes, if you’re open to letting go and trusting someone else, such as your Integrative Coach, to guide you on a journey of discovering your true self, then you can be hypnotised and gain the benefits.

It’s important to understand that while you might be more open to suggestions during hypnotherapy, you won’t lose control over your conscious mind, you’ll remain aware throughout the whole process. The person leading your journey can’t make you do something that you are inherently against or conflicts with your core values.

What Is Hypnotherapy Used For?
Hypnotherapy facilitates the process of transformation that an individual might desire. It aims to reframe your thoughts, change destructive patterns, overcome irrational fears and phobias as well as aid in resolving and integrating suppressed emotions.
How Does Hypnosis Work?

Hypnosis only works if you want to be hypnotised. Like falling asleep, you first be ready and want to go to sleep. So, only you can give yourself permission to let go and relax enough to be hypnotised.

When you’re being hypnotised, you’re allowing yourself to enter an altered state of consciousness called the hypnagogic state – this is the state between being awake and being asleep. This relaxed state is the entry point into the magic of realising your full potential.

In the hypnagogic state, your Integrative Coach can make suggestions that you have your coach designed together to focus your mind and help you go even deeper into relaxation. Hypnosis then aids in the exploration of the deeper layers of your unconscious that are usually inaccessible during ordinary consciousness.

It is at this place in your mind where you begin to uncover buried emotions and false perceptions, providing you with the opportunity to face these half-truths and whole lies so you can start to discover who you are really meant to be.

What Does Hypnotherapy Feel Like?

Hypnotherapy feels like a mixture of therapy and relaxation. You remain awake, but you’ve chosen to let someone else be the leader, instead of your ego taking charge.

Before you can be hypnotised you first need to learn how to relax. If you’re unfamiliar with hypnotherapy, you might feel a bit sleepy at the beginning, but the more you practise it, the deeper into the discovery process you can go.

How Can Hypnosis Change My Life?

Hypnotherapy or hypnosis is the process of learning to relax and become open again. When you’re open to trusting someone else to give you a suggestion – that you are good enough, that you don’t need that cigarette or doughnut to experience that feeling of relaxation, peace and fullness that you’re after, then you begin to reconnect to that part of yourself that already knows what you need, whats healthy for you and how to heal.

So in short the answer is Yes, hypnosis can help you change your life, but only if you’re open to facing the pain that might be underlying the unwanted symptoms you’re experiencing.

How does Integrative Coaching use hypnosis and hypnotherapy?

Every situation is different, it depends on your unique requirements and circumstances. If we think that hypnotherapy can help relieve the pain you’re feeling, we might suggest it as one of our therapies.
